Airport/ Sigiriya
We are pleasure to arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and can met by your Guide, Representatives and start to travel to Pinnawala.
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which sprawls across a 25 acre property. The orphanage established in the year 1975 to rehabilitate and provide care to injured and orphaned elephants, it has since expanded to house a herd of 70 over jumbos. The highlight of the visit, will be the daily bath sessions which the elephants enjoy down by the river.
Next travel to sigiriya and Climbing Sigiriya Rock fortress (8th wonder of the world) to explore the nature and amazing technology. And also head to a local village to experience the traditional Sri Lankan way of life. Meet the locals, learn about their customs, and witness traditional activities like farming and cooking.
Sigiriya/Dambulla/Matale/Kandy
Explore the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Inside the caves, discover a collection of beautifully preserved ancient Buddhist statues and intricate wall paintings.
Thereafter, visit a spice garden in Enamaluwa, and learn about the therapeutic values of spices and the various cultivation process employed, after which one can enjoy a revitalizing cup of herbal tea with a foot massage.
Next, continue to Kandy to explore the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses the Buddha’s left canine tooth. Take time to marvel at one of the most sacred and famous places in Sri Lanka before discovering Sri Lanka’s last kingdom.
After that can take a city tour of and you will be able to enjoy a cultural show at a local auditorium which showcases the traditional drumming and dancing which form a major part of the Kandian identity.
Kandy/Nuwaraeliya
Before way back to Nuwaraeliya you will find shops selling intricate souvenirs and international brands , with the processes of gem museum, and lapidary as well as an arts & crafts centers.
Experience the feelings in little England city called Nuwaraeliya cross over the beautiful nature of tea estates and Famous Hindu Temple call “Shri Bhakta Hanuman”
En-route to Nuwaraeliya stop at a tea factory and hear about its tea plantation and Enjoy the chance to try and buy teas.
Nuwaraeliya/ Tissa
